Beloit to be Showcased as Travel Journalists Visit

Beloit will be hosting 18 travel journalists this week who will be touring the city and will be introduced to many of its attractions.
Visit Beloit, the Wisconsin Department of Tourism and the Geiger and Associates public relations firm are hosting the travel journalists in Beloit Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The group also will spend a few days in
Janesville this week.
Stacey Bodnar, Visit Beloit director of marketing and public relations, said the group includes editors and freelance writers who write stories for Forbes, the Washington Post and other publications. Tom Wilmer of
National Public Radio (NPR) also will be with the group. He has a travel show on NPR and a travel podcast.
