BELOIT, Wis. — DEFY Domestic Abuse Beloit received a $4,000 grant to help add space and increase on-site services.
The program announced the grant from the Stateline Community Foundation on Tuesday. DEFY will be able to add two to three private spaces where residents can receive supportive services.
Right now, the services take place in cubical spaces in DEFY’s donation room. Staff said that the spaces are not private or confidential and make it harder for survivors to engage with the services.
