Beloit’s downtown community celebrated Leap Day with an air of achievement as the Downtown Beloit Association held its annual dinner, highlighting the year’s success stories and honoring local businesses and individuals for their contributions. Among the awardees, Joyce DesJardin and Paige Hoops, proprietors of the Rise and Grind Coffee Haus, stood out as they clinched the Best New Business Award.
