The art work of Connie Gardiner, as well as works from the Wisconsin Visual Arts Group, will be on display in November at the Beloit Art Center, 520 E. Grand Ave. in downtown Beloit.
BELOIT – The creative works of artist Connie Gardiner and the Wisconsin Visual Arts Group will be on display in November at the Beloit Art Center at 520 E. Grand Ave. A First Friday Gallery Reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 with a Gallery Reception feature talk by artists at 6 p.m. Both exhibits will be open through Nov. 28.
The Wisconsin Visual Arts Group will be featured in the Sveum Gallery. The Wisconsin Visual Arts Group began in 1900 as the first professional association of artists in Wisconsin, and has continued for 124 years as an educational, supportive, and connective force for artists in the state. WVA offers a community and a support system to artists at any stage in their careers.
