Laura’s Kitchen and Mentoring Gardens Market is an educational, youth-mentoring, fund raising project of the Ark Schoolhouse and the Educare Foundation. Mentoring Gardens Market offers specialty granola bites, fresh nut butters, etc. as a solution to aide family support and offer opportunities for young people to think critically and creatively with respect to a real marketplace.
The Educare Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit with a mission to assist children who might fall in the cracks of existing education systems, and to create environments where people can participate in idea development, problem solving and become part of creative solutions. Part of that vision was to develop business ideas that help support and sustain the mission for the long term.
