Profile
Beloit City Hall is proud to be part of downtown Beloit and the greater Beloit community.
City Hall includes the administrative offices for those working behind the scenes in local government. The first floor includes the forum which houses City Council meetings, municipal court proceedings and other community meetings. The second floor includes offices for Municipal Court, Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, Finance and Accounting. The third floor is home to Community Development, which is where residents go for things like zoning changes, building permits and code enforcement. The fourth floor holds the City Attorney’s Office, Economic Development, Human Resources, Information Technology and the City Manager’s Office, including communications and emergency management.
City Hall is also home to the City of Beloit Police Department. The men and women of this department are hard working and seek to create a safer community by working collaboratively with our neighborhoods. They are active members of our downtown community whether it’s keeping our parade route safe, grabbing a quick bite to eat during the Beloit Farmers’ Market or playing kickball against Community Action’s Fresh Start kids at ABC Supply Stadium.
