FRIDAYS IN THE PARKBELOIT — Lunch and live music are available at Fridays in the Park, a summer series hosted by Downtown Beloit. Fridays in the Park occur every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. — 1:30 p.m. at First National Bank Plaza, Corner of State St and Grand Ave, from May to September. The musical act is Back2Back Acoustic and the full lunch menu is available at the Downtown Beloit’s official Facebook page.
JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH THE MUSICALBELOIT — Beloit Memorial High School’s theatre students are putting on a musical rendition of Roald Dahl’s famous book at Beloit Memorial High School’s Auditorium. Guests will have a chance to see “James and the Giant Peach, the Musical” at BMHS, 1225 Fourth St, on Friday, June 2 at 7 p.m., and again on Saturday, June 3 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The musical is a kickoff fundraiser event to raise money to send the Beloit Memorial Theatre students to the Fringe Festival in Scotland in 2022.
