BELOIT — BIFF Year Round will return at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13 with the showing of Greener Pastures at the Downtown Beloit Association offices at 557 E. Grand Ave.

BIFF Year Round is a program of the Beloit International Film Festival. Greener Pastures captures the day-to-day lives of four small, multigenerational family farms over the course of four years. Through an intimate, observational lens the various stressors, policies and politics that farmers must maneuver to survive are examined, which help connect the dots between mental health, industrialization, food production and climate change. It is a story of perseverance, patience and determination that tackles nothing less than the future of farming in America.

There will be a Zoom Q&A with director following the screening.

BIFF Year Round is sponsored by Stateline Community Foundation. SCF’s mission is connecting people who care with causes that matter. Donation Fees: $6 for adults, $3 for students and free for film society members.
