BELOIT — A fundraising event to help the poorest residents of Haiti is back on after being postponed.
The Hope for Haitians Celebrity Bartenders Fundraiser will be held from 6 — 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 at CheezHead Brewing, 414 Pleasant St., Beloit. The fundraiser initially was scheduled for Sept. 15, but because of a death in the family of one of the organizers, the event was postponed.
The event will include a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to win prizes. Tickets are $50 per person, which includes three drinks of the customer’s choice.
