Beloit holding input session on downtown project

Beloit is seeking feedback from residents on a project which would see some changes to the downtown area.

Project Manager Alex Feuling says the project would demolish the building located at 80 to 100 East Grand Avenue and then a new riverwalk area would be built along with a 48,000 square foot building that could include a restaurant, commercial uses, offices, and/or residential use.

Feuling says the input session will be held Tuesday, November 7th from 5 to 7pm at the Downtown Beloit Association and will feature preliminary design information and concepts, and representatives will be available to discuss the project.

Construction is planned for spring of 2024 through summer of 2025.
