BELOIT — John Prusak and his girlfriend, Jenna Graff, were settling into their seats Friday for a screening of the movie, “The Drunk.”
The couple came from Hartland, Wisconsin to view several movies being shown during the opening weekend of the Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF).
The film festival kicked off Friday for its 19th season and is featuring over 100 films through April 14.
“We make an annual trip here. This is our third year,” Prusak said. “It has been a pleasant surprise.”
Prusak said, even though the Milwaukee area, where they are from, has its own film festival, they enjoy the films and the setup of BIFF.
