BIFF showing gangster noir film Wednesday

Another installment of the Beloit International Film Festival’s Year Round series takes place at the downtown Beloit Association (Wednesday) night.

 

Executive Director Greg Gerard says (Wednesday’s) show is “Scarpedicemente”, which is a dark comedy that tells the tale of a delusional gangster who feels to Las Vegas with his wife to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary.

 

Gerard says there will also be a question and answer session with one of the films directors. John Vamvas, after the showing so people will be able to pick the brain of the filmmakers themselves.

The showing starts at 630pm and is $6 at the door for adults, or free if you are a film society member.
